Please find below the response to your request under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act.

I would like to make an FOI request for the following pieces of information:

1. How many people are employed to deal with FOI? Up until 25 May 2018 there were no employees specifically employed just to deal with FOI processing as part of their work remit for the Council. There are currently 35 Co-ordinators within Cherwell District Council. From 25 May 2018 the Council has employed an Information Governance Manager and her remit will eventually include the management of FOI/EIR request processing once a suitable handover period has been arranged.
2. What is the budget for administering FOI? None, there is currently no specific budget allocated to FOI processing as this role falls within their normal daily duties included on their job descriptions.
3. Do you use case management software for FOI? If so, which one? LAGAN
4. Do you publish a disclosure log? NO

The Council endeavours to answer requests for information as fully and accurately as possible. If you are not satisfied with this response, you may request an internal review by contacting the Information Governance Manager at Cherwell District Council, Bodicote House, Bodicote, Banbury, Oxon, OX15 4AA or email [cyfeiriad ebost] . If following the review you are still not satisfied with the Council’s response, you are advised to contact the Information Commissioner directly at the Information Commissioners Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF or on [cyfeiriad ebost] .
