1. How many people are employed to deal with FOI?
2. What is the budget for administering FOI?
3. Do you use case management software for FOI? If so, which one?

Dear Mr Parsons,

 

Thank you for your recent request made under the Freedom of Information
Act, which has been received by Wirral Borough Council.

 

Wirral Council can advise as follows:

 

 

1. How many people are employed to deal with FOI?

In the corporate team there are 2 members of staff.  In addition to this
there are Officers who, as part of their job role are responsible for
facilitating answers to FOI enquiries.  There are 3 of these Officers
within Adult Social Care; 2 within Children Social Care and 3 within
Children Education Service.  The corporate team can also call on the
services of an in–house solicitor as and when the need arises.    

 

2. What is the budget for administering FOI?

There isn’t an individual budget for FOI, the corporate team sit within
Digital and come under the wider budget which covers Information
Management.  Information Management services comprise:-

Geographic Information Systems

Archives

Records Management

Digital Security

FOI/Data protection/Environmental Information Regulations

 

3. Do you use case management software for FOI? If so, which one?

CRM - Customer Relationship Management.

 

4. Do you publish a disclosure log?

No.
