We're waiting for Alex Parsons to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council,

I would like to make an FOI request for the following pieces of information:

1. How many people are employed to deal with FOI?
2. What is the budget for administering FOI?
3. Do you use case management software for FOI? If so, which one?
4. Do you publish a disclosure log?

Further to your request for information about FOI Administration Info I
can tell you the following:

 

1.    How many people are employed to deal with FOI?

 

All employees within the council are required to provide information for
FOI requests however, there are 11 people within the Assurance team who
are employed to directly deal/ respond to requests

 

2.    What is the budget for administering FOI?

 

The assurance team deals with multiple areas including FOI, DPA and
complaints, we are unable to split the teams budget to solely FOI as all
staff within the team are multi skilled.

 

3.    Do you use case management software for FOI?

 

Yes

 

a.    If so, which one?

4.    Do you publish a disclosure log?

 

No
