I am pleased to detail the information you requested below and trust that
it meets your requirements.

 

1. How many people are employed to deal with FOI?

 

9 members of staff consisting of:

 

1 Lead Officer

1 Co-ordinator

6 Information Specialists

1 Information Specialist Trainee

2. What is the budget for administering FOI?

 

The following figure is for a central team who deal with Information
Requests to the Council as a whole:  £303,468

 

This figure represents the full budgeted figure and includes all
on-costs.  This does not include time spent by Service staff which is not
reported.

3. Do you use case management software for FOI? If so, which one?

 

Yes, Fife Council uses a case management system to manage all information
requests.  The software system used is AXLR8.

4. Do you publish a disclosure log?

 

Fife Council are currently looking at publishing a disclosure log. 
However, this is still work in progress and has not yet been made public.

 

If you are not satisfied with the way we have handled your request, you
have the right to request a review of the decision. Please write to: Head
of Legal Services, Finance & Corporate Services, Fife House, North Street,
Glenrothes, KY7 5LT or e-mail to [cyfeiriad ebost]. The law provides
for you to make this request up to 60 working days from when we received
your enquiry or 40 working days from when you receive this correspondence
whichever is the later date. Where the outcome of the review fails to
resolve the matter to your complete satisfaction you have the right to

Fife Council will consider and seek to resolve any request to the Head of
Legal Services that falls outside these time scales.
