FOI Administration Info
Dear Falkirk Council,
I would like to make an FOI request for the following pieces of information:
1. How many people are employed to deal with FOI?
2. What is the budget for administering FOI?
3. Do you use case management software for FOI? If so, which one?
4. Do you publish a disclosure log?
If not all information is available, please treat questions individually.
Yours faithfully,

Dear Alex
Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
FOI Administration
I refer to your email dated 26 June 2018. This has been dealt with as an
information request under the above Act.
In response to your request, please find below our response:
1. How many people are employed to deal with FOI?
There has been nobody employed to specifically handle FOI requests. We
do, however, have a number of FOI Liaison Officers throughout the
Council. Liaison Officers ensure requests within the Service are logged,
tracked and monitored to ensure compliance with timescales. This is a
role undertaken in addition to the post in which they are employed.
2. What is the budget for administering FOI?
We do not have a specific budget for the administration of FOI requests.
3. Do you use case management software for FOI? If so, which one?
We use an in-house case management system for logging FOI’s. This is
called Customer First.
4. Do you publish a disclosure log?
We do not publish a disclosure log.
Please refer to the enclosed leaflet which explains your right to complain
about the handling of your case and/or the decision made.
Yours sincerely
Maureen
