Dear Bournemouth Borough Council,

I would like to make an FOI request for the following pieces of information:

2. What is the budget for administering FOI?
3. Do you use case management software for FOI? If so, which one?
4. Do you publish a disclosure log?

If not all information is available, please treat questions individually.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Mr Parsons,

Information Request – Freedom of Information Act

Further to your request for information received on the 26th June 2018
please find enclosed the material that you asked for.

1. How many people are employed to deal with FOI?

The Information Governance Team at Bournemouth Borough Council consists of
the Head of Information Governance, Principle Information Governance
Officer and an Information Governance Officer – all of these posts cover
the Information Governance disciplines, which include FOIA.

The Council has a network of Information Asset Advisors (IAA’s) who log,
track, monitor and collate responses to requests for information received
under FOIA. IAA’s are not employed to deal with FOI’s - this is in
addition to their main role.

2. What is the budget for administering FOI?

There is no set budget for administering FOI.

3. Do you use case management software for FOI? If so, which one?

The Council uses an in-house tracker database .

4. Do you publish a disclosure log?

Not currently.

I hope that this deals with your request satisfactorily.

If you are dissatisfied with this response you can ask for a review, which
will be dealt with through the Council’s complaints procedure. Details of
the complaints procedure can be found at:
www.bournemouth.gov.uk/Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of the Council’s review you have
the right to refer the matter to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Contact details for the Information Commissioner can be found at:

Yours sincerely,
