Dear West Lothian Council,

I would like to make an FOI request for the following pieces of information:

1. How many people are employed to deal with FOI?
2. What is the budget for administering FOI?
3. Do you use case management software for FOI? If so, which one?
4. Do you publish a disclosure log?

If not all information is available, please treat questions individually.

Yours faithfully,

Alex Parsons

I acknowledge receipt of your request dated 27 June 2018 relating to FOI
staffing; associated costs and systems.  Please find the information you
have requested detailed in the table below:

FOI Queries

Q1 How many people are employed to deal with FOI?

West Lothian Council does not employ dedicated staff to deal with FOI
requests. Information requests are dealt with by staff within service
areas as part of business as usual, therefore this forms part of a
wider role.

Q2 What is the budget for administering FOI?

FOIs are dealt with by service areas, and costs are absorbed within the
area.

Q3 Do you use case management software for FOI? If so, which one?

Verint Enterprise Management Professional

Q4 Do you publish a disclosure log?

West Lothian Council do not publish a disclosure log.
