Dear Mr Alex Parsons,
Regarding the following Information Access Request:
I would like to make an FOI request for the following pieces of
information:
1. How many people are employed to deal with FOI?
We do not have a specific FOI Officer or team. However there are currently
2 officers that handle the administration of the requests within their
wider job role. This process is also supported by Officers in each
service area of the council. The officers would help gather the
information and prepare responses. We also have an officer who undertakes
our Internal Reviews as part of their wider job role.
2. What is the budget for administering FOI?
There is no specific budget for the administration of FOI. The
administration is covered within the wider remit of the Customer Services
Team, which incorporates other functions as well.
3. Do you use case management software for FOI? If so, which one?
We use a database designed and built in house by our IT Team.
4. Do you publish a disclosure log?
We do not currently publish a disclosure log but this is something we are
looking to develop.
I hope this information is of assistance. Please feel free to get back in
contact if you require further information.

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the
right to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests should be
submitted within two months of the date of receipt of the response to your
original letter and should be addressed to Roger Greene, at
[cyfeiriad ebost]. Please remember to quote the reference number
above in any future communications.
Should you remain dissatisfied with the final outcome of the internal
review then you may apply directly to the Information Commissioner (the
'ICO') for an independent review. The ICO is the Government’s Independent
Body responsible for overseeing the Freedom of Information Act 2000, the
Data Protection Act 1998 and The Environmental Information Regulations
2004. Please note the ICO will normally only review cases that have
exhausted the Dorset Council Partnerships’ internal review procedure. All
correspondence to the ICO must quote your reference number and your
reasons for your appeal. The ICO’s contact details are as follows:
