Dear Mr Parsons

I refer to your email of 26 June 2018 requesting that the following
information be provided to you:

1.     How many people are employed to deal with FOI?

2.     What is the budget for administering FOI?

3.     Do you use case management software for FOI? If so, which one?

4.     Do you publish a disclosure log?

I will deal with each part of your request in turn as follows:

1.     There are no employees within Inverclyde Council who deal solely
with FOI.  The FOI process is managed and co-ordinated by officers within
Legal and Property Services, with support from officers within each
Council service area.  FOI requests are therefore dealt with within
existing staff resources.

2.     There is no specific budget for administering FOI.  All costs
associated with dealing with FOI are contained within existing service
budgets.

3.     Inverclyde Council does not use a case management software system
to manage its FOI requests.  Upon receipt, requests are logged by Legal
and Property Services on an Excel spreadsheet.  The date of response and
any exemption/exception used are also noted.

4.     Inverclyde Council does not publish a disclosure log.

If you are dissatisfied with the way in which the Council has dealt with
your request you are entitled to require the Council to review its
decision.  A copy of the Council’s review procedure is attached.

Further information on how the Council processes your information can be
found at [1]www.inverclyde.gov.uk/privacy - the Freedom of Information and
Environmental Information Request Privacy Notice explains this in more
detail.

Yours sincerely
