This organisation took over from the Fundraising Standards Board in 2016 and is the UK’s self-regulator for charitable fundraising in the UK. The body is a membership organisation supported by the Government. The board is not a public body and is not formally subject to the Freedom of Information Act. The body works in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, The Independent Fundraising Standards & Adjudication Panel for Scotland fulfils a similar role in Scotland.
