An independent public inquiry to examine the UK’s preparedness and response to the Covid-19 pandemic, and to learn lessons for the future.

The inquiry has been established under the Inquiries Act 2005*.

The inquiry is not subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000 but has been added to this site because it was established by the Government to carry out a public function.
