Bazalgette Tunnel Limited (Tideway) is the company financing, building, maintaining and operating the Thames Tideway Tunnel. The Thames Tideway Tunnel is a 25km tunnel, described as a "super sewer", designed to intercept, store and transfer sewage waste away from the River Thames.

The Upper Tribunal’s judgment in the matter of Fish Legal & Emily Shirley v Information Commissioner & Others [2015] UKUT 0052 (AAC), handed down on 20 February 2015, was that Water and Sewerage companies are subject to the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR).

Bazalgette Tunnel Limited has been granted an infrastructure provider project licence to carry out a large or complex water or wastewater infrastructure project that has been specified under the Water Industry (Specified Infrastructure Projects) (English Undertakers) Regulations 2013 (SI 2013/1582)
