Scottish Rail Holdings (SRH) is the holding company which owns the designated 'operators of last resort' for passenger rail services that are devolved to The Scottish Government. This body is wholly owned by the Scottish Ministers.

SRH was setup to fulfil the Scottish Ministers obligations under Section 30 of the Railways Act 1993[1].
This body will, via a subsidiary, take over the operation of ScotRail services from April 2022 [2, 3].
