Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement Agency

Foo, a policing body, a police force, a body that is now defunct and a body voluntarily applying FOI

This authority is not subject to FOI law, so is not legally obliged to respond (details).

The Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement Agency (SCDEA) is a statutory body, maintained by the Scottish Police Services Authority (SPSA). The FOISA 2006 Act includes the SPSA as a 'public authority', but only in relation to those police support services it provides. The SCDEA is not a police support service and is therefore not covered by the provisions of FOISA.

Requests for information about particular activities of the SCDEA will be refused. However, the Agency may respond to reasonable requests for information, although not under the provisions of FOISA legislation, if such information is held.

This authority no longer exists, so you cannot make a request to it.
