The Money and Pensions Service was set up as an independent body with responsibility for improving people’s money management in May 2018.

Known in legislation as: "The single financial guidance body", and doing business as MoneyHelper, this organisation replaced the Money Advice Service, Pension Wise, and The Pensions Advisory Service.

This organisation is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions.[1]
