An executive non-departmental public body and a part of the National Health Service, also called HEE

Health Education England appoints Local Education and Training Boards for areas in England. These boards are responsible for planning and delivering education for health care workers and ensuring sufficient skilled health care workers in the health service. *

Health Education England also provides supported internships for learners who have high needs,through a programme called ‘project choice’. There are currently 127 learners across 14 local authorities.
