Glasgow City Integration Joint Board

Foo and A Health and Social Care Integration Joint Board

The Glasgow City Integration Joint Board is the main decision making body for Health and Social Care Integration within the Glasgow City area. The board leads on and has devolved responsibility for the planning and monitoring of community health and social care services. This includes all services for children, adults and older people, along with homelessness and criminal justice services.

The Integration Joint Board directs the Council and Health Board to deliver community health and social care services. The council and the health board deliver services via the Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership. The Integration Joint Board also has responsibility for some services that are delivered across the wider NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board area (for example, sexual health services). *
